CLIMATE ACTION WEEK 2020
West Lafayette Climate Strike organized a climate action week in September to build momentum leading up to the Confront the Climate Crisis campaign launch.
SIGN WAVE
Climate strikers held up signs and a banner by the side of a busy road to continue spreading awareness about the climate crisis while we cannot gather in large groups.
COLOR OUT & CHALK OUT
Members of West Lafayette Climate Strike chalked a black top with climate crisis art and information about the campaign launch. They also organized a social media color out that evening where there were a wave of climate action posts at 8 pm with #confronttheclimatecrisis.

CAMPAIGN LAUNCH
West Lafayette Climate Strike held a well-attended Zoom event on September 25, a global climate strike day, to officially launch the statewide climate campaign: Confront the Climate Crisis. Since then, students across the state have been working together to build this campaign from the ground up.
